I'm new and get a lot of good advise from you guys. But I am also an old lady and can't do all the repairs myself.
Can someone recommend a good, honest mechanic for my 1998 Dodge Durango?
I live in Auburn, Washington the closer the better, because usually I need a mechanic the most when it doesn't start.
Thanks

Explain more. When the durango doesnt start? Does it sit there and crank over and over and nothing happens?

I am out in Gig Harbor, 25min from Auburn, I own 2 shops. If you ever need anything let me know. I offer free towing and free diagnosis.
If your ever in a predicament in auburn, I highly recommend to stay away from Aurburn Car Repair & Offroad.

Thanks for the reply, I am really stuck with the transportation part. Your offer to come get it is great. That is why I was trying to find someone local. Even getting a ride to pick it up during working hours yours, theirs, mine is horrible.
Do you know anything about T's Automotive Repair "Terry Funderberg" on 22ed in Auburn, A neighbor at least said he's honest.

I have heard of T's Auto, never heard anything negative. To not hear anything negative of any shop is rare.
I will get back to you on your message tomorrow :)

I'd recommend talking to Dan Bennett (parts department) over at Bremerton Dodge. There's a lot of Dakota R/T enthusiasts in that general area, he might be able to refer you to one of them, or maybe schedule you in at the dealership.

Check your PM, me thinks me knows you:drive:
Brian where you at? This is in your backyard know any mechanics?
I go to Jim's Automotive Experts, but that's pretty far away for you (15 minutes or so from the U.S./Canadian border in Everson, WA). Just my $.02

Thanks Its always good to know where the good ones are.
Oh, and Raredon's (sp?) Dodge in Bellingham is very helpful, too, but be ready to pay super high labor costs. They'll do work on factory components and they'll install aftermarket stuff, too.
