Alright fellas, this is going to be an official list for any Dakota/Durango that wants to be on the list.

Simply make a post in this thread stating your best 1/4 time (including 1/8, 60 ft, mph if available). Also include all the following available:

I'm gonna use two keys in the list. Truck info key and the mod key. You can list your info with just these codes or type out all the specific mods if you want them to be seen or just feel like doing it.

So where does this "official" list get posted other than here, and who verifies the times to make them "official"?? Just wondering because you know others will be asking. Like I coudl say I run a 13.x normally asperated with X-mods, and most wouldn't question me because it is possible even though I might not actually run that time/speed. I know we would all like to work on the honor system, but after seeing some of the Drag Truck times, I think we all know it doesn't work.

Brian, it's just like other threads like this, only so much can be done. If it sounds really, really fishy or impossible some may ask for a slip or video.

Beyond that though, not much can be done. I don't know anyone who can reach through a PC and do a telepathic scan. If someone has no life and wants to post up some BS that sounds reasonable not much I or anyone else can do.

my n2o times will improve a lot.. that time was with 85* weather and 95-100% humidity... and my slicks spun. 20* less temp... 20% less humidity, and usin Ryans bogarts and slicks after I steal them from him.. will net me a 12.6 I think!

Hey guys... New to this board... Just added a bunch of stuff to my truck and saw major improvements. I ran a 13.89@99.21mph 1.89 60' on M/T ET Drags. I ran the hell outta my M&H's and bought some mickey's. Mods are CA, H, PCM, TB, E, S, T, D, RR, HD, C, IG, WR. I think thats it. Ran my times at Osceola Dragway in Osceola Indiana. I plan on gettin a nitrous setup this winter sometime and seein how she acts to it next spring.

Just thought I'd post my times as well......

my current best track times are as follows

15.452@91.24, they were run at PGH Raceway Park in June '03

My 60' times are holding the times back by about a .5 second,
need to work on improving those.

The trap speeds should be getting me a high to mid 14 second time.........I'm losing ET in the first 60' and 330' of my pass.

My current best dyno pass was run after this track session and posted a 290 RWHP AND 384 RWTQ.

CURRENT MODS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

RC,4WD,SC,N,H,TB,SK,TQ, and a host of others too numerous to mention............

I've also got a new 3.9 going together this winter with ported heads, intake, camshaft, and fuel system upgrades, and some PCM tweaks.

HI all. I just found this forum and glad to see there is one just for Dakotas. Since everyone esle is puting there times up I figured I would throw mine in there as well. I have an 89 Dak Sport Reg Cab Short Bed. THe drive train has all been built by me. It consists of a 79 360 with Kieth Blak pistons (11:1 compression), 727 auto tranny and a 8 3/4 rearend with 3.90 gears. THe best I have run in the truck is 12.43@110 on motor with no nitrous.

got some new times.

ran a 13.68 @ 99.0 N/A back in Nov. with a few mods added. cut a 1.97 60' on some circle track slicks, and added a custom BG flashed computer

ran a 12.78 @ 106 with a 1.90 60' on some 28" ET streets runnng 104 unleaded, with the BG flash and no timing pulled on the 150 shot(Houston Mopar Show-October). have since added an MSD ignition and maybe a few more tricks up my sleeve(4.56 gears and 1.7 RR's soon to be installed) and hope for a 13.3 or 13.2 n/a with a good cold night, and maybe a low 12 on the n2o.

I wonder how much the humidity and heat slowed the truck down on all motor!? Tho I only did 2 on all motor..
And with the nitrous I actually got "OK" traction with the Goodyear RSAs... of course this is with the nitrous coming on at 3k RPMS, and really smoking them up for about 5+ seconds... All I had with this was a lil bit of wheel hop... no spinning down the track..
I think with cooler weather, nitrous activating at 2500RPM, and some DRs I can hit 12s... just disappointed with the all motor times.... but oh well. Its a DD and is fun to drive on the street regardless!

you stop spinnin an you will pull a 1.6 60 ft and a 12.7 in the 1/4 u was spinnin u had smoke on the tires that spinnin. wheel hop is a part breaker bro, my truck was spinnin an i got a 1.8 60 ft. cuz i know you feel faster on the street kinda like wen i take off on the street i run a faster 1/4 cuz i dnt spin as much on the street.

Weather was actually worse. My DA went from 768' to 1311'. I ran .22 seconds faster because I was able to go WOT off the line. In my previous pass I had no traction bars and was unable to open it up until 2nd gear because of wheel hop. No more wheel hop + WOT in 1st gear = .22 seconds faster. I picked up 2.5mph in the 1/8. :mullet:
