which MS should i get?

Hi guys, what would be the best combo to put on my truck knowing that i want to control fuel(obviously), ign timing, and later run boost 6-10 psi

MS2 is a good choice for these trucks as it can control the stepper IAC. Are you looking to buy a complete, assembled unit, or build one from a kit?

building one from a kit i think. ive done a lot of wiring on race bikes ect, but not anything that small. it would be a good challenge, and im sure i would learn more about the MS in the process. ill probly need to buy a smaller soldering gun tho...

Cool, an MS2 V3.0 would be pretty good. It comes with a 2.5 bar MAP sensor standard, so even if you decide later you want 20 psi of boost, you won't have to upgrade, just do some new tuning. See the sticky for notes on how one guy's managed to get the MS working with stock sensors. Or you could use a Lean Burn or MSD distributor.
