Hi, I'm a brand new newbie here and have a question.

I recently had my mirrors, handles, cowl, and lower front and rear bumpers painted to match the body color.

They appear to have some orange peel that I am not thrilled with.
The painter told me that the paint on plastic needs to cure and shrink for 3 weeks minimum and to then bring it back for color sand and buff.
Does that sound right to you guys. :help:

Yeah that sounds about right. It takes a little while for the paint to set up fully. If he did it too soon it will ruin the paint job. When he does sand and buff it'll take care of the problem and it'll look really good.

Fossil, photobucket doesnt quite work that way. You have to link your pics here from photobucket. The link you got now, we need your password(dont give it out) to see the pics. It very simple process... photobucket that is.

Thanks, the paint is original Forest green pearl coat, 4 years old this month and lots of TLC.
