I would like to hear from you if you have tried both products out. Pros and Cons??

I've been using the Meguiars 3 step since my Dak was new with good results, but I'm looking for something that adds more shine and depth to the paint.

I'm leaning more to NXT because auto stores carry it, Zaino would have to be ordered and shipped.

Thanks,
Anthony

NO COMPARISON...ZAINO ALL THE WAY! Easily the most optically perfect product on the market because it's not carnuba based. It also lasts longer than any other wax since its not really a wax. Do your research, ask questions and you will find that even though the Zaino is expensive in the long run you wont be waxing your vehicle every month, it will be more like once every 4 or 5 months with just washing inbetween. The best part is that it looks like it is freshly waxed every time you wash it. You just gotta use it to see and believe for yourself.

zaino is hot. but the real reason i love it is cause it`s so easy to apply and buff off. with meguirs it used to take me forever and was a biotch to buff off. the zaino is a pretty much wipe on, wipe off product. i`m also in love with their tire shine. i used to use black magic and turtle wax tire shine......
never again. this stuff holds up really well. and when i wash the truck and go to reapply more tire shine it`s still mostly on there. plus it doesn`t catch dust/pollen like the black magic and turtle wax did.

I gotta agree with him. Zaino all the way!!! I waxed mine last Aug and it still looks like I just waxed it. The water also still beads up real well. Zaino is easy on easy off, and a little of it goes a long way. It's not like your gonna use the whole bottle in 1 wax.

I've got a buddy that swears by Zaino too, he uses it on his blue Dakota and black GTP. The finish looks great. The GTP hasn't been polished since last summer and it still looks great when he washes it.

I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say about both products. I guess I should just order it and try it for myself.

How many coats can an 8oz bottle do??

Thanks guys!!!!

Zaino states that it only takes about an ounce of polish to do a whole vehicle......depending on the size of course. I think the only 2 downsides to zaino is that you need to use the whole system to get the best shine out of your vehicle (but i guess that goes with any type of polish/wax out there) and the other is the avaliability and price. You have to order it since no one else sells their products

I can also vouch for zaino being the easiest to remove of any waxes/polishes that I've used so far. I like their window cleaner too. Works great to remove water spots. My 5% tinted windows look like a mirror when they are done.

NXT worked great for me, but it didn't seem to last too long, maybe about 2 months. I've yet to try Zaino, maybe with my next free check.

Zaino Hands down. What everyone else said. It is the only product I've seen turn a flat panel into a total mirror, wash after wash, it still has the same great shine and optical clarity.

old pics but you get the idea

Didnt you use a buffer and some other stuff to get it to shine like that.

Being shiney is one thing....but lasting about 6 months is another...and that is the main reason I use Zaino. If you take the time to put it on right you wont have to do it again for quite awhile.

Last weekend I helped my buddy with his Blue QC, just to see for myself what it takes to do and how it looks. I was very impress with the depth of the paint and how clear the shine came out. I had to order it, should be on it's way!!!

Another thing a bottle of NXT is almost the same price as the Zaino Z1 and Z2 combo.
NXT- $29.99(cdn)
Zaino- Z1+Z2= $34.99(cdn)

i'd like to try zaino but all i have to say is how often you guys bother waxing your truck. i waxed with nxt last oct. and i still haven't even gotten around to waxing the truck again. well i've waxed the bed and whatnot but not the cab forward. anyway from the cab forward the water still beads nicely and i still get a very good mirror reflection, all of this on a black truck that sits outside 95% of the time in direct sunlight. i'll be the first to admit i've been lazy about waxing recently but i sure as heck don't see why wax lasting more than like 3 months is astonishing. however i will be waxing soon cus i'm having my tailgate and front bumper cover reshot to fix a dent in the tail, stupid atv shop, and scratches on the front, don't run into bricks. another note though is that that eagle one nanowax stuff is supposed to be good, i've heard people say it's the bext they've used esp. when getting rid of light scratches.

I did mine last Aug. and it still looks like I just waxed it. It really doesn't need another wax but I want to do it again before winter comes.

The second pic, I stripped the wax, did a lot of hand buffing and compounding, then stripped that stuff off, then zaino'd. It got rid of all tehs swirls, since zaino is only a polish it doesnt hid that stuff, you have to work out imperfections first, then removed what products you used, then top it off with zaino and will be good for liek 6 months. The first and third pics are of just zaino.

the third pic is of the Fall NE DRTC 04 meet, at the gas station on our way to the broke dyno lol.
