Guys, im working on swapping an 05 hemi as a stand alone setup. Ive got the complete engine harness already with every connection except the throttle pedal. That is plugged into the white plug (the body wiring harness). I have the throttle pedal and connectors for it and the body harness computer connectors. My only problem is that some of the 6 wires from the pedal go rite to the computer and some go to the other connector for the harness. There are a few wires that jump to the computer, but I have no idea which ones go where. I think these pics mite help out a lot more than me trying to explain it.

These are the ends of the pedal pigtail:

And the computer/body connector:

Ive matched up the wires by color coding on the pedal pigtail and marked them. Wire 1 has 4 possible matches, 2 on each side but one is a larger gauge wire, 2-5 only match to one wire, but not on one connector and wire 6 has 2 possible matches. Can anyone help here? Ive got my wiring guy sending me a wiring schematic, but until I get that, im stuck

What is the harness originally from?

Did you pull this harness out? If so, then you should have labled it better and not cut some of the wires. That isn't gonna be a good thing. When you put them back together, you will need to solder them and cover them with some good heat shrink.

I am fine with putting the wires back together, but no I did not cut the wires out. The closest truck I could find with the wiring that the guys were willing to cut up was in indiana I think. I had them cut the pigtails out for me. It is from an 05 rumble bee ram. I went to a dodge dealer yesturday to see what they had and saw an 09 ram with the same wiring, but they were obviously not going to let me take the wiring apart to figure out where the pedal wires end up.

Im trying to find someone with a hemi that is willing to help. The only way I can see to figure it out is to unplug the pedal and white connector, put a + source to a lead on the pedal and test all the pins on the comp. connector to see which one lights up.

Tell me the colors of the wires, and I can probably tell you their function and where they go.

Ok, well there are the 6 wires from the pedal, 1-violet with white stripes, 2-white with black stripes, 3-violet with yellow stripes, 4-yellow with pink stripes, 5-pink with yellow stripes, 6-violet with purple stripes. Thanks

You need a pinout from the Ram. I used the Alldatadiy.com pinout for my project. I will have to look over my notes to find the ones that go to the pedal. I am still using the throttle box, but I do have the newer pedal style ready to go in at a later point. My wiring is a little different because of this, but I do have the Diagrams for the my2005 Ram that I can go over.

i just got a diagram from my wiring guy that helped a little, I have for sure figured out where 4 of the 6 wires go, they connect into the white plug. The problem is that there are still 2 more that connect to that other plug and I dont know what they are for or where they end up. If anyone can help, please look into it. They are the Yellow/pink and Pink/yellow wires. I labeled they 4&5, but they are labeled 1&6 on the plug itself

Thanks so much that that info, I guess all it needs is 5 volts then, is one + and one -?

69rrbruce, I thought I did respond, sorry about that, I sent another one.
