i took my durango out to the desert in so cal yesterday and did some mild off roading(some small trails any 2 wheel drive could make) to get to the spot me and my friends go shooting. everythings fine and i have a good time shooting. on the way back we go through a border patrol check point and i notice a grinding from the front end so i get off on the next exit. i notice the wheel bearing is kind of loose but im 30 miles from home so a tow is too expensive. i take country side roads and about 5 miles down the road i get the death wobble. pull to the side of the road to see my left front wheel sitting 45* to the ground like this /. look underneath and the whole hub assembly is busted and the wheel is hanging on by the rotor inside the caliper. so $140 later for the tow and 3 hours in the middle of nowhere at 41* in shorts and a tshirt i get it home. looks like another $100 in parts to fix it now too. only plus side is i can do the work myself and save some money on that plus the durango will get a bigger lift now too
