i hate water pumps

so saturday night after i got off work i decided to finish my christmas shopping. i drive all around san diego going from store to store with no problems. the second i pull into my driveway a puddle forms under the engine bay of my dur. upon closer inspections my water pump is barfing coolant out the bottom. $160 later (new pump w/ lifetime warrantee, new serp. belt, new bypass hose, 180* thermo and gasket) i still have a leak but its coming from the metal pipe that the heater hose on the driver side goes into. none of the orings i have fit into the hole they keep tearing and leaking. so another $30 at the local dealer and finally my baby is back up and running(at 180* instead of 195*)

I hear ya bro, I've been there too had my water pump bearings go and siez right when i got off the freeway lost the power steering when it went too (on the same belt) then it just puked fluid all over the engine compartment had to spend some change and my night after work changing the pump hoses and belts just to go to work in the morning its no fun at all...

Glad you got it all fixed up and running a 180 now :D Cooling problems are NOT fun.
