yea i havent been on in a while  its been a combination of work and women.

some stupid F'n drunk pulled out in front of me, i was going through the intersection, the other guy was making a left hand turn right in front of me, i had no time to react. I was not hurt even though i hit him at 40mph, he was fucked up. he went to the hospital. He was sited for no insurance, no registration, failing to yelled, DUI results will be back in 30 - 60 days, but 5 different Officers said he was drunk though. his car is totalled see pics, my truck is fucked up, after closer inspection the bumper bracket bent in, i think it bent the frame. bent the A arm my tires are like this \ / i could only steer from center to right, fender pushed into the door, bumper, hood, etc etc. Thank god i have insurance with all the bells and whistles.

pics where taken with my iPhone....

Damn Brad. That sucks man. Glad you weren't hurt. Hope everything gets worked out for ya. Sucks that that irresponsible asshole doesn't know how to drive, not drink and drive and have insurance. I'd tell ya to sue his ass but chances are he doesn't have anything.

$7775.19 later...

Picked the truck up yesterday... Paid my deductible.. inspected it, they installed new aftermarket crystal headlights, found the same new grill i had on it.. they didnt notice i had chrome amber turn signal lights, so they installed amber ones, told me to buy them and send them the bill. Foglight was replaced, but the other on the other side is a little faded, so they dont match.

Not happy with the gap around the aftermarket headlights:rant:
not happy the the gap between the grill and bumper
not happy with the gap between the headlights and the bumper.
ARG.
so they told me to bring it back monday so it could get adjusted.

I hop in my truck, start heading home, and there is smoke coming from the under the hood. I didnt realize it but my truck was over heating BAD, and there was power steering fluid spewing all over the place, i didnt want to try to make it home. i parked it, called the dealer, they sent out a recker. and it was sent out back to the the dealer. They had the nerve to call be back and say "we cant see anything wrong with it. Well Have to drive it around Monday and see whats going on" They did however see the powersteering fluid leaking. couldnt miss it really it was all over the place.

Im just very disappointed in the service i got. Its like they just slapped everything together. They said they test drove it., i only got 4 miles away from the dealer, how could they miss it. Had a few friends tell me they where great too.

here is a scan of the invoice

sorry no pics of the truck yet, i WAS going to take them when i got home.

well, what do you expect them to do and keep the bill low, so the insurance wont have to pay for a full totaled vehicle...id bitch so much they would have no choice but to total it.

The most important thing is be in constant contact with your insurance comapny and let them know what a piss poor job they are doing.

Trust me, insurance companies take this shit VERY seriously!

I can't believe they fixed it at nearly 8,000 it probably should have been totaled. Also dealerships aren't where I would take a vehicle for anything but warranty work they kind of suck most of the time.

when I loved tapped a car in the rear end with my 99 dak, there was over 6K in damages to my truck. and after I had to take it back to the body shop 4 times to fix all the small things I noticed the bill was well up over 8k. just keep on looking for stuff that the body shop missed or messed up while fixing it.

Total repair bill on my truck was a tick over $8k in Aug '06...but that wasn't surprising. Whole front end and left side sheet metal.
