Well, I just feel the need to vent. I'm SO f-in pissed b/c I have bene w/o my truck for nearly 3 months. What happened...
My transmission just up and quits on me while at a city stop light. I take it to the mechanic I've been going to for years and years. Pay over $2200 to get a newly re-manned tranny with 3 year warranty. It takes over 2 weeks to get there and get in. Then 1 week later, while setting off on a trip, the thing f's up on me. Won't shift into 4th or go into overdrive. SO, back to the shop. Dodge takes FOREVER to go through all this warranty stuff, then they send the WRONG transmission. Finally after OVER 3 weeks, the tranny is in. I pick up the truck and less than 6 hours later on the highway, it does the SAME thing...f's up again. SO, back home again. Now, it's taken to the regional dodge dealer. It sits their for OVER 3 weeks while they have a thumb up their ass and the tranny was just ORDERED last friday. It is imperative that I have it this friday, but that's not to optimistic...I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO angry that it's been forever. In all honesty, I'll NEVER own another Chrysler product.
