Do motor mounts and I guess transmission mounts need to be fabricated or are there some already for sale or that work?

I know Im going to ask some dumb sounding questions but y'all have proven the simpler the question the more diverse the answers that are given (unless there is only one answer).

There are none available that will fit the Dak or Dur at this time. There are some mounts for some of the older cars, but not for the trucks. They all have to be fabricated.

just use a torque arm. easy to fab! They even make them in uber expensive billet!!

See my 98 Dakota Hemi Swap thread http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56958 for how I modified manufactured motor mounts to my frame. I've seen some Hemi motor mounts by "Tinman" on EBAY that look pretty sweet and could be easily adapted to any frame using some steel plate tabs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TIN-MAN-Motor-Mounts-426-Hemi-Hemi-Crate-Engines_W0QQitemZ180298368914QQcmdZViewItem?hash=i tem180298368914&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 Check it out.

No, because this is in the Hemi forum. ;)

Also, why would someone need to modify stock motor mounts other then doing an engine swap.
