Wierd problem today....

So I drove my truck to work today, on my way home I noticed my vents were blowing out very hot air! The thing is, everything is turned "off" and it was all the way on cold! I haven't had the heat or air turned on in some time (air conditioner doesn't work, don't need heat in the summer).......I noticed I had it set on the defrost, but like I said, it was blowing crazy out the vents!?

Anybody know whats going on here?

That's weird. My Dakota does it too, but I don't have even have the stuff hooked up. :jester:

When the fan is off, the blend door doesn't move. So it if was on panel vents when the fan was turned off...it'd still be there.

Try turning the fan on low and see if the heat control and blend door still work.

If that doesn't get anywhere, remember that everything is electric on the 01+. No vac lines to search for.
