Got it for $2.72 a gallon, they must have registered the pumps wrong or something. I didnt bother to tell them they messed up, i figured id let it go so other people can get a steal too! lol suckers...

That happened to me recently. Not as good as yours though thats for sure. The gas price listed on the sign was 3.79 but at the pump it was 3.50. It was only my pump though. I checked the others and they were 3.79. I was pretty happy.

Don't be so sure. This happened somewhere else and all the people who paid with credit or a debit card were charged after the fact when they figured out what happened. Only people who got away were those who paid cash. If they figure it out they'll get there money. :sorry:

Lately Church's have been pitching in to lower the price for the day. They haven't been changing their signs I don't believe.

How could they charge after the transaction was complete? It was listed on the pump for $2.72, and i got it for $2.72. It was a debit transaction so its not like it wasd pending. Im not worried bout it though.

Yea that doesnt make sense. You authorized it at $xx of a price, even if they catch the mistake they should not be allowed to take more money out of your account without your authorization. Thats stealing IMO.
ALSO, you payed the price it showed at the pump. They should have to honor the advertised price.

It's a damn shame when $2.62 is something to get excited about.

If this is true, link to news story, otherwise ducktales. They cant charge you one price and then increase it after you pay.

I read it a few weeks ago. Sorry I don't keep the link to every news story I read. I couldn't find it again if I tried. But I did read it so no, not "ducktales". Why the hell would I make that up? I couldn't care less what they do after the fact. Its big business and the oil companies. They can do whatever they want. What they've been doing to us over the last few years is proof of that. If he got the gas for less then what it was supposed to be, good for him. :clap2: I'm just telling you what I read.

with oil being the lowest its been in a while, youd think it should be down at that price by now. and it should be. but noooo. thanks to ike, and oil companies crying about it. nevermind dip into the reserves for it for the time being, then make it up later (which im sure they can do right quick). it woulda kept the prices stable, instead of skyrocketing int he damage line to over 5.oo a gallon.

I have given up on getting cheap gas. I just wait for the fuel light to come one and then stop at the local station and fill up. I pay a little more at the local station but they put a lot back into the community and to me that is worth it.
