Hello,
I have a n '01 Durango SLT w/ the 4.7 I am going to use it as my commuter/daily driver, and my round trip is 70 miles, all highway.

Currently, filling up with regular costs about 40 bucks, and it lasts all week.

My question is : Would any "mods" help/ or hinder my current fuel economy?

mods would be: a type of ram air induction

possibly the HO cams + intake

I want to keep gas consumption they way it is, but I'd like to get a little "extra" power out of the engine, or am I being contradictory?

Thanks!
