Its probably what I'm thinking.
This is not to offend anyone but that right there is what they call Jewish lightning. (I can get away with that. My grandfather was Jewish) They don't have flood insurance so they light the roof on fire.

I doubt it. I'm sure someone will pick it up and try to bring it up North and resell it thinking people don't do checks on it. I ran across a few Katrina vehicles when trying to buy my Durango.

y wouldnt it start?? depending on the engine, it doesnt look like the water has hit the air box yet, and shouldnt the water stay out of the system, if the system is properly maintine, shouldnt let anything out shouldnt let anything in. just sayin....

Oh trust me, I"m not judging them. You do what ya gotta do. Either way whether its a flood or a fire I really feel for them. Thats a terrible situation.

that daK will be fine. as long as the water doesnt carry it out into sea lol. also hope it doesnt roll it over. but lets say if the water was just still and the dak just sat there until the water went down... no problem. he could start it and drive it to a shop and then change all fluids. ive wheeled seveeral jeeps and they never had a problem with water over the hood "with a snorkle" so that dak just sitting there not even running... no problems.

Hey my R/T durango was a flooded vehical in a fresh water flood. The guy i got it from had it for the last three years. He had all the fluids changed and what not and you would never know unless told otherwise. The reason he got rid of it was to buy a new one with the hemi. Does it piss you off that he only wanted 4000 for it. Good for me, I traded my 2ng gen eclipse straight up for it

I hope your not trying to be funny. How do you think we feel down here? We like being hit by a hurricane so we leave our vehicles outside and burn our houses down causes we don't have flood insurance. I can guarantee that a transformer on a pole went down and started that fire. It is happening all over the place. If you want to make fun of someone, make fun of all the dumbasses that are leaving generators on inside their homes. Going to hospitals due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Need generators but not if they can't use them correctly.

I"m not trying to be funny. I"m just calling it how it is. Back in the 70's when Agnes hit around here thats what the people did. No one had flood insurance so they lit the roofs on fire. The term they used was Jewish lightning.
So calm down there buddy. I would never make fun of people going through something so terrible. I certainly wouldn't want to go through that.

I really didn't want this thread to have people fighting in it...and I wasn't making fun of people who are currently being flooded in Texas and the surrounding areas.
I saw a dakota on Yahoo News...thought it was something to just post for shits and giggles.

Here Here!
People who get paid money to rebuild in a flood area deserve better...
Wait... :slap:
Sucks to be in that situation. All we had was high wind and loss of power-well still without power at home and it sucks so I feel for them down there.

I didn't mean to jump on some ass. It just hit me as inappropriate material to do when so many lost their homes and vehicles. I'm sorry. Still so many here with out power and homes. Total destruction. Every thing is just gone?... Sooooo sad?.
