Importing GEN IV Dakota

Considering buying a used 2005-2006 Dakota in the U.S. Anyone here import one? What are the required mods for it to meet Canadian standards? Do U.S. trucks come with daytime driving lights that just need to be activated, or does it require a wiring hack. What about the odometer - can the digital display be switched over to KM?

Ive brought a few back you go to the dealer and they turn the daytimers on you dont have to switch the speedo just leave it in miles

Did you have a dealer in Canada or the U.S. activate the DRLs? What did you do for a recall clearance letter (dealer or from Chrysler)

dealers here do them for you and also they can tell you if theres a recall or go to dodge.com and hit the owners link put in the last 8 of the vin and it will come up then print it out
