View Full Version : *Possible 4.7l G.B. from Doug Thorley Headers!*

Hey everybody, I know I'm VERY new to the site and haven't posted much at all but I have been surfing and reading a LOT!
I own an '01 Dak 4.7l qaud cab. Looked for header/exhaust options and found everyone was having problems with the DT's hitting/not fitting corretly on the drivers side.
Made a contact with a vender out of Payson and Phoenix, AZ today and he is able to get a group-buy(re-run) of the 4.7l headers for our truck if we can get at least a dozen(12, for you numbers ppl) people commited to buy. These would be the steel chrome coated version. I'm sure you probably could get a higher end coating for the price but I'm starting off with fittment before beauty. I just want the things to fit correctly. So the saga begins again for the 4.7 crowd. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get a list going.

For those in and sround the vally of the sun, I work in N. Scottsdale as an auto tech if you're interested in stopping by to say "hi". Otherwise I'm in the west valley at home.

hey man thats a little steep don't ya think? im sure you can find other kinds of headers out there and if your lookin for a more expensive header set i wouldnt want to waste the time waiting for 11 other people to decide hmm i want to drop that kind of money

you could get some Gibson headers shipped cheaper than that, around $350 to be exact from AirRam

ya but gibson's are only shorty and the tryy's are alot beter and worth the money at leats on the 5.2 5.9

I never noticed but this thread is from july and for the 4.7 nobody makes long tubes
