Rear hatch lock in a Durango.

My keyless entry will unlock the rear hatch but not lock it. When I use the key to lock it makes a grinding noise. Tried WD-40 but no luck. Any ideals of the cost involved with replacing the lock?

It's a fairly common problem. Remove the inside trim panel and grease up the linkages. I've been there and so have others. In the mean time, until you do it, usually multiple presses of the fob buttom will lock it.
