It's an Innovate LM-2, a combination data logger, OBD-2 scan tool, and wideband controller. With this unit, you can log the readings from one or two wideband oxygen sensors, while also logging up to 16 channels of data from an OBD-2 PCM and save the whole thing to a SD Card.

It's the sort of thing a dyno shop would often have to hook up to a car on the dyno and monitor its air/fuel ratios, but it has other uses too. While it can be used as just a plain OBD-2 scan tool, there are cheaper ways to accomplish that. Innovate intended it for testing to see how accurate your fuel map is - on a dyno, a dragstrip, or the street - but it can also be used for other tuning and diagnostic purposes.

Not yet, but it's probably going to replace the Motec wideband currently on our dyno. They just came in but we're definitely planning on using it ourselves.
