guy at work traded his quad cab dak for a quad cab ram hemi back in january. he was selling his cover and knew I had a quad cab. I asked him how much and he said $100. I said al I can do is $70. well he said he couldnt sell it for that. so I said thats fine dont really need it. well last week he ran in to me and asked me if I still wanted it I could have it for $70. so I said sure and picked it up friday. it was in great shape and when I dorve down to my inlaws in SC. a trip that I have to fill up in hillsville VA because I would be at almost a half tank due to all the mountains hills I have to go up and down. I was only a lil under 3/4 of a tank. the ride is so much smoother and not having that wind drag in the bed. I cna notice a big difference in the mileage. where when I fill up when the needle is past the full mark. it would hit the full line in 40 to 50 miles. now with the cover I can go amost 70 to 80 miles before it hits the full line.
I will get pics up once I clean the cover up but it would of been worth the $100 :jester: so I think I got a great deal for a cover thats over $200 brand new. :woot:
BTW when I stopped in satesville nc I stopped so wife could get a drink. I finally saw 110 octane fuel and it was $7.75 as gallon. that was a shocker. when I was driving up to it. I was like wtf costs 7.75 a gal. then I saw what it was. no I didnt fill up with it as I dont have deep pockets :jester:
