New Merchandise: T-Shirt Design #2

I have talked to a couple of local t-shirt shops, and believe that I can have another type of t-shirt printed in either individual quantities or small batches and keep the price at a reasonable level. At the moment I do not have any of these shirts in stock, but should be able to turn the orders around within a couple of weeks. If a steady stream of people are interested in these shirts I may have some small batches produced ahead of time in the future.

These shirts will feature the website logo that was voted upon for the glass mug/shot glass project - a large version of the logo will be printed on the back, and a small logo on the front left breast area.

The new shop I'm using will print shirts one by one so it's fine to order the new shirts in alternative sizes as long as you don't mind it taking 1-3 weeks before it ships out. I am only going to keep a small quantity of L/XL/2XL in stock because they're the most requested sizes - anything else I'll have to get processed individually.

So that means when you sign up for a new membership you cant get the new design for the shirt rather than the old? I plan on finally getting a membership (I know, I know..long over-due) but would prefer to have the new shirt design, if at all possible.

That is the current policy - first time subscribers only get the original design t-shirt as the big freebie item in their membership packet. I had to pre-pay for the whole batch of original shirts in advance, so I'd like to see them get pushed out the door before I start investing in alternative designs. The new shirts also cost 2x as much as the old ones, because of the difference in quantities - makes it harder to give them away and keep the membership program above water.

I'm not sure if PayPal will allow you to tack on the t-shirt payment when you sign up since it's a one-shot subscription button, but you can certainly go right to the merchandise page and pay for the extra t-shirt right after you sign up for the subscription so I can ship out the items at the same time.

I can definitely get you regular black decals - I keep those in stock. I'll have to contact one of my decal makers for the reflective if you want it, gotta see if they'll make singles at the same cost as bulk.

Is there a way we could work somthing out outside of paypal and Ill just send a money order? Ill just pay the difference for the new design and for a 2nd decal (I want one for each CC window) plus the membership fee.

FYI: I ordered the first run of shirts today, hoping to have them in my hands by next Friday, otherwise people will have to wait about 2 weeks for shipment because I'm going on vacation with my kids. I will send a PM to each person who already ordered a shirt when they ship out. After this first run I'm hoping to keep 3-5 shirts of each size on hand just so people don't have to wait.

I contacted the t-shirt company last night, and as I expected they weren't able to get them done early so I will have to grab them in a couple of weeks when I'm back from vacation. I will send PM's when I'm back and they're on their way via USPS.

I picked up the new shirts this afternoon. I had 5 people who paid for shirts in advance, their packets are prepped and I should have them in the mail on Monday. I had a couple of extra M/L/XL shirts done at the same time, so if anyone orders one they won't have to wait for production.

I can have additional shirts printed 2XL-6XL but it would take a couple of weeks before it would ship out.

I will have to check with my shirt maker to see what sort of minimums they will require to have a different shirt done (eg: grey shirt w/black ink or black shirt with white ink, whatever). At the moment I have 2nd gen shirts (the one with the logo, not the 15 trucks) in stock in L, XL, and XXL sizes. I don't have the ability to hit the post office every day, but it should ship out within a week. I do have cards in stock as well.

I heard back from the printer today - If I went with basic black shirt/white ink, it would run $2.00 extra per shirt, and there would be a minimum batch size of 25.

S/M/L: $13.95
XL/XXL/XXXL: $15.95
Prices include shipping & handling.

If I can get at least 10 people to commit to purchase with payment in advance I'll get the order started, and hope that the other 15 will sell at some point in the near future.
