Hey you said large Pic not PICS :funny:
Looks good man, not sure if it would look better but maybe run that tube under the intake  I dunno it just looks out of place to me

but why didn't you put the air intake on the other way? That way you wouldn't have the blue tubing running that far...

That's what I'm thinking. Flip the intake over the other way and the tube only has to run pretty much straight up instead of across the engine.

The grill looks good. But I don't understand the intake. Aren't you pulling in the hot engine air with the filters mounted like that? If you had a ram air hood then it would be a different story.

The AIT sensor is supposed to be relocated into the opening on the tubing up front. A little cut and splice and a grommet is all you need. Otherwise you may throw codes.

Thats a kit from EBAY......Ive seen em but they seem useless w/ hot engine air.....Cowl hood would make it GREAT though

they are great for making a whoosh noise. I have a similar set up when I first got the truck. I am paying off my credit card so it's still on there. But they do suck in a lot of hot air. So mpg aren't really affected.

That intake is cool. I wouldn't use it cause of all the hot air it is gonna suck in. Then again, 4.7 L's aren't known for a lot of heat.

I almost bought that grill for mt R/Tizzle. I almost bought it like 10 times. But I realized buying on credit was bad. :jester:

I must have a odd 4.7L it gets as hot as my other truck which is a 5.4L(yes my other truck is a F.O.R.D. ... Don't drive it execpt towards the end of the year because father likes to drive my truck because it's 4x4(he hunts a lot) I haven't noticed any losses though from having a filter setup like Dj Wolf's.. A section of piping connected to the TB and a filter connected to the other end of the pipe. I'll get a picture of it if someone wants to see.

all you have to do with that intake is pipe it off down into the sides
