This dude at my school has a 94 Ford F-150 with a 302 V8 auto in it and kept on bragging that he could smoke the shit out of my little 3.9 5-speed. So the next day we line up in a 1/4 mile section of a back road and right off the line my little 3.9 gets about a car in front of him untill I hit second then im gone. Shut him up :mullet: Sorry not much of a story but I just thought it was funny.

I've got a 94 3.9 and I have yet to be beaten by a halfway stock V8 by any of the big 3. Hemi Ram, F-150, and Chevy 1500 almost always lose when they line up against me. Claim to fame was the 01 Ram with exact same mods I had and i still won. K&N Intake, dumped Flowmasters, 3923's, wires, and a 180 stat. Same exact ones and beat a single cab 318. My dakota gave me a whole new respect for Mopar
i beat the shit oout of a newer F-150 4.6L with my 3.7 auto

Careful, there are minivans out there capable of smoking an R/T.
It's great that you can kill a v8 or even a bigger v6, but you HAVE to look at the weight difference, i mean those full sizes are huge compared to even the gen III's and the gen II are even smaller so i mean you have a natural advantage right off the start even if they have bigger engines...and defintly watch out for minivans, Dodge came out with a turbo'd caravan like in 85 or some thing, and with only small mods, it was taking camaro's lightnings, mustangs and everything, if i could find the site again i would post it...
FOUND IT....this is the true reason i got into Mopar, if a frigging caravan can do this, anythign can..

Well this goes to prove my often stated point:
Take a POS, apply money and effort (or lots of money) and you can have a fast POS.
