We have some new items coming in March. To complete the interior, custom racing seats will be available in two different styles, with options for reupholstered fabrics and colors as well as your favorite embroidered logos as always. We are also working on a complete custom billet pulley set for the 3.9/5.2/5.9 Magnum engines (a 4.7 Magnum set may be in the works as well). Stay tuned to the Products (http://www.sidewindercustoms.com/products.html) page for the new items coming soon.

All years 3.9/5.2/5.9 magnum engines (97-03). Will require a seperate balancer for the bolt-on crank pulley and a different water pump for the bolt-on WP pulley.:mullet:

Here's an idea of what can be done with one style of seats out of the box in solid black, and reupholstered body in red leather with black embroidered logo.

Please fwd me details about the pulley set when available - apparently Sam or Ryan installed underdrives on the truck at some point, I don't like them. I have the engine bay torn apart right now, wouldn't mind swapping pulleys & installing an electric fan at some point, depends on the budget though.

Will do Steve. I too went down the path of the underdrive pulleys and I'm not happy with the side effects, so stock size it is.

Prices will vary as I can get these in real leather or in a synthetic leather grain at a substantial savings. I can change out the body (back and seat cushions) to a different color leather or to a different fabric altogether (suede, ostrich, alligator, etc....). Prices will be on the site soon.

Oh and yes I will send brackets to adapt these to your stock seat rails.:mullet:

I am down for a pulley set as well. Underdrives are fine for the strip, but for a daily, they are not working as well as I had hoped. I am looking forward to a stock size set again.

Any idea on the pattern you are having cut in to the face of the pulleys? Can I get a set to match my wheels. :jester:

More than likely one pattern, but a very stylish looking one. I'll look into whether or not custom patterns can be done and what the added costs may be.

Does that price include shipping? Also for the logo, if i want it to say "mopar" instead of "dodge" would that be considered a custom logo and be the extra $, or is that only for pics and things like that? Do you plan on any GB's for these seats?

Shipping is additional. The "Mopar" logo I'll do as a stock design so no extra charge for that. GB's is definitely on the horizon. I need to get a supply of seat brackets made up and in stocked before I pull the trigger on the GB.

FWIW, I have already sold two pair locally to a guy with a QC Dakota, so I'll have pics of 4 of these in a QC Dak by next weekend.:mullet:

They do have slightly different mounting points so I'll send the appropriate brackets per each pair of seats. And the QC rear seats do require a more unique bracket then the front.:onethumb:

Sorry. i just started another post questioning these seats on Install pictures and comfort. lets see those pictures and how do they relate to the seats you have in yours comfort wise?

I have both styles here as test pieces and they are comfortable and not nearly as firm or hard as other racing seats. The first style has tall thigh bolsters that keep you planted in your seat. The only caveat is that for larger waisted folks (raising my own hand) it's a little tighter fit. The second style has smaller thigh bolsters and thus gives the seat cushion a little more room for the arse.;)

They are quite comfortable and for nearly half the cost of the Cerullo seats I'd venture to say that they have a very comparable comfort level for their price point.

I have three pairs sold thus far, with two pair going into a Quad Cab here in a few days. I'll post up pics of those once they are installed since the owner is local to me.:onethumb:

Quad cab....local....DRaven?

Actually, no. But that was a genuinely the most logical guess. It's actually going in a White QC with the four racing seats with white stitching.:mullet:

As for DRaven though, I did work a little magic though on his racing seats that are in his QC. I reupholstered the seat back and lower seat cushion in black ostrich. It's an amazing look and definitely goes well with the rest of his interior....

Thought an update about the pulleys was in order. I heard from the manufacturer today and they are planning to send me the first test fit set next week. If all goes well, I can place orders and they can knock out the production pieces much faster than it's been taking for the prototypes.

00RedRT

They are billet aluminum and they can be finished in either a show quality polish or chromed. Pricing is $850 for a polished set, and $950 for a chrome set.

The quality is on par with the $1500 to $2000 sets from the likes of Billet Specialties, Zoops, etc....

Dude, you should know the common equation by now.....

Custom + Mopar= not going to be cheap

Unfortunately we don't have the numbers of Ford or Chevy guys, so when we have custom stuff made in small quantities the costs of having these items made go way up.

Six of them are direct replacement pulleys. The Alternator, Idler, Tensioner, Power Steering, Water Pump, and Crank. The A/C compressor uses a clutch cover. The water pump and idler pulleys don't have ribs, just like stock.

So what happen to the billet pulley system?

I'm at the mercy of the manufacturer, they are suppose to be making adjustments to the initial set and sending them back to me. They are busy with mass production items and my small order (to them) keeps getting put on the back burner.

It's still a go once the first set gets final approval. An initial GB will show them I'm serious and will speed up the orders over just one set being made.
