I bought a 4bbl for a steal, with the 2bbl adapter but it think its to much manifold for my truck. Even with a KB when i get one.
WOuld it be possible to set up a group buy for these? I know a ton of people would buy one if they went cheap enough, im thinking around 400$ or so maybe including the install kit shipped to our doors. Since there would be a ton of people who would probably buy one then. As most wont buy a 2bbl mainly due to the price. And this would satisfy the buyers and the sellers if we had enough.. Just an idea.....
Some one fill me in on how these work.

Well the price depends on the number of people, and if we got this on a couple of sites then we could all get the savings....

You need to first contact a vendor and see what he could let them go for if 10 people bought or 20 people bought or 30 people bought and then get a group buy going from there. You need to have a supplier first and a set price!
I would be in too!

If you decided to sell your 4bbl w/2bbl adapter...how much would you want for it?

Well it needs injectors drilled for it. So IDK
I dont see this buy ever coming to fruition.
Why is that? Because of the prices or what?

I truthfully dont see it happening just because of the demand/price of the 2bbl. But say it does happen, I'm totally in

Not really. The manifold went up maybe $150 if that. No biggie.
MSD went up some $50 on their ignition boxes.
Everyone is going up on EVERYTHING... just a fact of life now.

I was told that we need the right linkage.. Supposedly it goes by the postion of the driver in the drivers seat which would put the linkage on the right..
I was never sure if it went by that or as if you were standing in front of the vehicle.. Guess I'll find out since I just ordered my 4BBL M1 with the right linkage (P5007790)

True but that site is ALWAYS the same price. His dealer friend is giving us a group by deal and it is still more expensive than the site.

As far as I know, they arn't in mass production anymore, neither is the 4bbl. Expect to see a price surge in used manifolds.

Good to know. Maybe I'll just get the 4bbl since some day I would like to go 408. Whats the part number for the 4bbl MPI non-egr? Anyone know?
I won't have much lag. I getting 4.56's put in and then I'm lookin for a torque converter.

Please contact the vendors of this site and see what sort of specials they can arrange for you. No matter what the M1-2bbl is going to be a lot more expensive than they were a couple of years ago, Mopar really jacked up the prices for all distributors.
