I actually do all the polishing. In what shape are the wheels? As long as they're in decent shape, I will do all 4 for $75 if you'll cover return shipping.

This is a swing arm for a RM250 dirt bike, which was completed for the customer in the link above. Note that the inside and front were not polished since this bike is frequently racing in the woods. It leaves a nicer finish later on. This started as a rough cast with an anodized coating. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w151/thumpinhard25/LGP.jpg I will get some more pictures up today of Dakota parts. Unfortunitly the Race car just pulled out on its way to Texas Motorspeedway so i will not be able to post any pictures of the work on it untill monday.

I think you posted the wrong pic? Looks like a MC block w/o head? (And some dirty undies) Not a swing arm, but I don't know 2 wheelers very well!

Man, you guys are quick. Sorry about that, thats and old picture of my dorm room in north dakota. I was prepping the bikes for the upcoming race season. Its tough to turn a small room into a shop.

polishing aluminum is fun. I built a custom fan shroud for my dad's van out of aluminum, I spent the better part of 3 hours polishing it. started with a very dirty, rough piece of junk yard aluminim sheet, cut, bent and welded together, and started sanding. I started at 80 grit to get to clean metal. then went to 120, 220, 400, 600, 800, 1000, then wet sanded with 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2500. hit it with the buffing wheel and that thing looked like a mirror.
but it was easy to do as it was all "flat sides" and I could use DA sanders and a buffing wheel, I didn't have to hand polish anything.
