There is a GenI RC, 4WD shortbed sitting about 6 miles from me that hasnt moved in a while, the guy has a GEN III that he drives alot. It looks like the truck that an old buddy used to have; if its the same one its an 89, 3.9/5 speed with a dead trans. Body looks good, has a rollbar with a couple KC lights on it mounted in the bed; My 14 year old keeps nagging me to get him a truck that "WE" can work on and get ready for his big day... he wants a Ramcharger but at $3+ for gas and a high schooler paying to keep the thirsty pig fed.... (he saw pix of my old one, thats why he wants, but gas was about 1/3 what it is today when I had mine) Im thinking of a knock on the door to see if in fact this was my buddys old truck, and considering the age and the bad 5 speed, if the engine compartment and interior isn't a wiring nightmare (that will tell me whether its the truck I think it is right there) see if the guy wants to part with it cheaply. Im thinking <$250. About right for a GenI 4WD roller?
