Just reading a few posts below and got me thinking since my truck did not come with the overhead computer i want to get one installed the service guy at the dealership told me it cost around $1200 or so with installation. I got thinking has anyone tried to get one done that has been made with a carbon-fiber finish?

If your truck did not come with the overhead computer from the factory then none of the wiring or sensors are present in your headliner/pillars/etc. You need to buy all of the individual parts new or scavenge them from an identical year truck (different years are not compatible) and then install them yourself.
My truck did come with the overhead console, I had it processed like brushed aluminum by Phoenix Imaging (see featured product on main page)

If your console is the same exact dimensions it would cost you $49 - you can pick whatever color and pattern (ie: brushed aluminum, carbon fiber, wood, granite, etc.) you want.

Actually it's inside the black one - I had most of the dash, door panels, steering wheel, and overhead console processed with brushed aluminum hydro-graphics. The antenna is from my 2-way Viper 791XV alarm system, I use an 18" billet antenna in the factory location.
