Registered to get some help lifting my brothers 03 dakota club cab. I'm a Jeep guy and a regular over at JeepsUnlimited.com so I'm well aware of the search function so I'll try not to upset too many people by asking redundant questions. Already begun searching the different manufacturers for body and suspension lifts both for my brothers dakota and have an idea of what he should get. If I can convince him, he will get a suspension lift, although his wallet may tell him to go the way of the body lift.

I'm quite familiar with lift kits for solid axle vehicles, and specifically those with front/rear coil springs, but the dakota front IFS and rear leaf springs are new to me.

My ride is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) with the 4.7 with a few mods (K&N CAI, 68mm TB, full 3" exhaust, Superchips, 4.10 gears, OBA, CB/PA, some lights, 6" lift, 32s, etc).

Welcome and nice Jeep! For your bros, you can crank the torsion bars up and get about 2" and put 2" blocks in the back for a small super easy suspension lift (costing around $30.00 depending on where you buy the blocks). Theres also a Performance Accessorys 3" body lift available for it and a suspension lift too (not too sure who makes it though). Good luck on liftin it and be sure to post up some pics when your through.:drive:

Welcome to the site. Nice lookin WJ. I'm a member over at JU too but don't spend a lot of time there. Some good stuff in the tech sections but got turned off by a lot of the people in the OT section.

Haha, yes the OT section is full of haters. I avoid the OT forum at all costs (except for that one day I got really bored at work...)

As far as those torsion bars, I thought that 2WD dakotas didn't have them. I'm not familiar with a torsion bar so i wouldn't know, but I'll do some more reading hear and hopefully I get it figured out someday.
