Mods?

My ride and mods are in my sig.

Here is what I want to do.

I want to do mods that do not void warrenty, for my 04 Hemi Durango, that is my family vehicle, so nothing extreem.

My ideas are: Headers, Duals exahust, CAI, electric fans, Underdrive pulley, and Tuning.

What do you think about that?

Also are there other things like porting the TB or any thing else I can do myself?

Also I am new to the Mopar world, so any links to websites, or names of companies to find performance parts would be appriciated.

i just saw a thing on trucks tv. it was a fancy intake called hemi under glass. said its good for the warranty and had some impressive 1/4 claims. google it up.

Does the 6.1L Hemi intake fit the 5.7L Hemi?

i think you can find some of these answers if you search. also if you go on like www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com you can just input your vehicle year make and model and it will tell you the parts they sell that fit.

Intake, headers, exhaust, and electric fans are a great start. A good addition would be a 6.1L or a Comp 260 cam then some tuning.

Sorry if I am stupid on this Mopar stuff. I know GM LSX series engines not Mopar. I am new to this stuff.
A cam would void the warrenty though right? I am pretty sure it would.
I think I will stick to the basics with this one.

just spend some time browsing thru the hemi section on here. also spend some time searching on ram boards because im sure a lot of the mods are the same. just do some research all the info is out there.

Most of the time. One thing will not void your warranty. Such as if you lower it, and something suspension related breaks then it isn't covered. Get what I mean.

The 6.1L intake will fit on the 5.7L, but the ports don't match. The 6.1L intake is good if you have mildly/heavily modded engine.

I don't know the exact specs on the 5.7L vs. 6.1L cam, but I'm sure there out there on some other sites like DodgeTalk or HemiTruckClub.
