The topic came up the other day while me and my GF were leaving Burger King and I was checking it to make sure it was right. After I checked it, I asked her "I wonder how many other people order it like this...". Ill admit it, Im weird...I order them plain. No cheese, no lettuce, no anything. I dont even eat the buns. I just tear off a peice and dip it in ketchup. The first time somebody sees me eat a burger they're like "WTF?" :jester:

So am I the only one that does that (probably)...how do you guys eat your burgers?

I order them plain, meaning the burger and cheese only. I don't like all the other stuff, I like to put my own ketchup on. well I feel better now I though I was weird :)

DUDE....your pretty weird :D I eat mine all the way baby, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, mayo, ketchup, the works. Sometime with cheese sometimes without, it varies. Sometime I'll also throw a couple of onion rings on it.

Loaded, except lettuce. If I make it myself, about 2inches think, with mushrooms, onions and sauce.

Except I heard they quit selling the Whopper at BK, so I'm heartbroken. :funny:

Since it's lunch time, I'm hungry, and I hate your post. :jester:

I eat them the way they come. No special orders. If the tomatoes aren't mostly ripe I will remove them though. Nothing worse than eating unripened tomatoes on your burger.

I'm fairly partial to the Black Jack Burger at Backyard... Peperjack Cheeze, cajun seasoning, sauce, and loaded up...

Same here. At least when you order anything from how the place servers it, you know it has a fighting chance of being fresher then the one sitting there for gods knows how long:huh:

The meat I like med. rare.

Sometimes I take the meat out and trash it. I like the melted cheese all gooey with mayo and catsup and mustard oosing! Oh yea has to have pickels too! Thats why I eat Mc D's Big Mac there isnt much meat on them just lots of OOOsy goodness! And hold the fries I don't do grease, only on my truck!

I used to eat them plain meat and bun only.
now I eat them with only the meat cheese and bun; a regular burger tastes like poo to me and I hate ketchup.
Yay! I'am happy to know that there's other people out there like me.
And I hate salads.
I will, however, eat pizza with all the toppings on it.

I can't stand the BK stacker. I need something else on the burger besides just meat. I prefer the Whopper with bacon and cheese over the stacker. And I really like the Texas double Whoppers with the jalapenos and bacon on them. Only things I will eat from McD's are Big Macs and regular cheesburgers. I don't like how greasy McD's burgers have gotten.

As far as the comment about not knowing how long the burgers have sat there, I know the national chain fast food places aren't allowed to leave pre-made burgers sitting under the heat lamp anymore. They have to "assemble" the burgers as they are ordered. But that's the reason I love In N Out in Cali. They make the burgers fresh to order and I love the sauce they use, especially animal style.

If I'm making burgers at home though, or having a BBQ with friends, it's just meat. cheese, pickles, mustard, ketchup and bun. Nothing fancy, no veggies, no special sauces.

my lil bro gets only meat/cheese. i get em with no tomatoes/onions. and a friend of mine gets bread and meat. thats it...aside from some ketchup/must.

lol, i worked at McD's for about 10 months a while back. ask me anything and i can tell you the truth about wut goes on lol. as for not sitting under heat lamps... its made after its ordered up until someone accidently makes an extra burger... then it sits in the hot staging plate until some1 orders it...
the burgers on cooked with too much grease but the oil vats only get changed once every 2 weeks.. this oil cooks everything.. fries, chicken fish... eeewww

Ewww... Fast good burgers...those are Disgusting

I get a pound of beef. Throw it in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and 1 egg. Then ridewine vinagrette, and salt. Mix is and let it sit for about an hour.

Then I make about 4 burgers out of that. Nice thick, juicy burgers, Then add pepper jack cheese on top. No veggies for me.

If you want to make some good burgers go to the grocery store and get some chuck roast and ask the dude behind the counter to grind it medium grind for you and follow what mopar318 said and it will be even better then buying "ground beef"
now i'am hungry

Got about 15 lbs of it sitting in my freezer right now. Along with about 4 packages of round steak, and a couple packages of loins. Also just got half a pig from my parents for Christmas. Man I love being back in Nebraska. It's even better when you know the farmer who raised the animals that the meat is coming from. Only thing that sucks about here is nobody knows what the fuck tri-tip is and you can't buy it in the stores. We found it once at the commy on base here, but they didn't have any yesterday when we looked.

I will only eat plain hamburgers :) I hate cheese.. Well thats not true, I just dont like cheeseburgers.

Bacons ok though

hskrRT
12-30-2007, 08:05 PM
What funny is the people who order the plain hamburgers are paying the same amount as the people who don't special order them. Seems like some people are getting screwed over. lol

Kind of like going to In N Out and ordering the "low carb" burger that comes on lettuce leafs instead of a bun.

Bacon, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, honey mustard, black olives, and provolone usually but i'll have different cheeses. Medium-rare to medium.

When I was younger I would get cheeseburgers with ketchup, pickles only. Now that Im older I will eat about any burger the way it comes. When I grill burgers at home I like em with homemade fry sauce, homemade spicy guacamole, pepperjack and american cheese, little lettuce, and lots of bacon. I also like my buns toasted with a little butter on a skillet and make my own homemade french fries in the Fry Daddy. :waiting:

i worked at a McD's for 6 wks over a year ago. the fries, chicken, and fish have separate vats or the fries and chicken would taste like the fish. i have had chicken that was cooked in the same oil as fish:vomit:

Well when I order a 4x4 I get it Protein style. Yea you pay the same amount as if you had the bread, but it's the only way to eat a 4x4. Plus I want my artieries to get clogged easy.

Oh God I'm never eating at McDonald's again...

I get mine with just american cheese and bacon. I eat burgers everywhere I go...IMO, the best fast food burger is hardees, and the best burger period is the triple prime burger at Ruby Tuesday. Although I think the single best burger I've ever had was at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Antonio, TX.:D

I think the single best burger I ever had was made on my own grill in my back yard by me, almost every time I grill up burgers.

As far as restaurant burgers go, Fuddruckers is pretty damn good. There and In N Out are the only places that make me want to go back just for the burgers. If I'm going to a restaurant to eat, I'm probably not ordering a burger. I'm getting a steak or something else.

I eat my burgers however they come, either minus the mushrooms or I skip the mushroom burgers. Sometimes, I'll add cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions if it doesn't come on the burger.

Someone said above, Hardee's make the best fast food burgers, and he was the most honest man I ever knew. I LOVE Hardee's burgers.

The best hands down is whenever I grill them, however I grill them...cause I hook 'em up.

Loe my steaks rare. Brown both sides and as long as it's warm through the middle it's good. If it's still cold in the middle, I'll send it back. I do have a limit.
