hey their, i live in belvidere, il, i work at my local chrysler dealer as a mechanic (not just oil changes) and i am almost 18
i just bought a 1993 dodge dakota v8 4x4 ext cab, it has only 48k miles on it (old lady drove it and always used mobil 1) has new brakes and tires (off brand and small) and came with a fiberglass tono cover, just a couple little paint chips and no rust, it also has cruise and a/c along with other nice options, full size hitch and brake controler
best of all i got it for only $2500 (books for $3800) :mullet:
i am a die hard mopar fan and am currently building a bigblock mopar a-body project (daily driver), but because of the Illinois winters (lots of salt) i obviously cant drive my car in the winter, i bought a 87 ford ranger for $100 and fixed it up and drove it for my first winter- but come on, who wants a piece of crap like that, so i decided to buy a v8 4x4 dakota for the winters and to drive while my car is going under the hot knife, plus i do my fair share of muddin
upgrades i am planning are cranking the torsion bars, longer shackles to match, some 31x10.50 Firestone destination a/t, painting the ugly woodgrain dash, a custom front bumper, custom cold air intake, some sort of exhaust (quiet and rumbly),
just hear to look around and maybe ask some questions- mopar forums are the absolute best :banana2:
