I had to send my superchips program back to get retuned. I know a few people had to do this. How long did it take to get it back?

Once you get it back.... you'll love it. This thing makes my 4.7L sing! Makes it rev a LOT higher with NO problems... and it's WAY smoother... can't wait to throw in some new spark plugs(still got stockers)

Mine went via UPS on Friday. It should be arriving in Florida today and turned around by this weekend. I can't wait!

I did, however get the graphs for the post-Superchips install on a truck that is similar (in mods) to mine. Very impressive before / after picture.

Sent mine back in on a Thursday and had it back on Tuesday. But I only live an hour and a half away.
And trust me it was definately worth the wait.

I got mine just an hour ago.

all I can say is WOW! :mullet:

 to the Superchips guys.

:clap2:

The performance setting is smokin! With a fresh oil change, 93 octane, and a warm engine, the beast really came alive. The Rev limiter got raised and the top speed is was not reachable due to fog and traffic conditions (and the amount of  on the steering wheel). The combo of all my mods plus the tuner had me leaving rubber, even in 4 WHEEL DRIVE! What a truck.

The mods on the 4X4 4.7 Auto Dak include the HO Cams, Superchips Tuner, True Dual Exhaust, Homebrew intake w/K&N, Fastman T-body, moved IAT, Mobil 1 oil, and Autolite plugs. Aside from an HO Intake, I think I am done fixing up the performance side (unless I win the lottery, then it is Supercharger time).

On the test drive, I floored it at a light and left some rubber there (even with the big BFG Rad AT TA KOs), and when she shifted into second, it was extremely firm. The front of the truck raised up noticiably with the shift and she kept on plowing on.

You can scoff all you want about the "butt dyno," but I think she is over the 300 Ft lbs of TQ bar. Similar rides with similar mods have produced similar numbers.

Way to go, Superchips, Way to go.

hmm but the dyno graphs show only a gain of 10 rwhp and a little over 10 ft lb of torque? Figured on a bit more than that for 400 dollars...

Finally got it back. What a difference this thing makes. In performance mode it really wakes this truck up. I'm impressed. As far as returning them, every truck is different and sometimes they have to make a minor adjustment. I had mine back in 4 days from the date they recieved it.

How do you know if it needs to be adjusted.

When you program the truck , the module will tell you if it needs to be adjusted.

I don't know about that.... I think there might be something wrong with mine.... I did a dyno run and lost 2 hp at the rear wheel under the 87 octane setting.... seems dumb to me. The sad part is... I also got an F&B TB between now and the time I did my previous dyno run. Oh... and it was colder this time around... just my luck right?

I might call them and yell a little.
