Anyone have any pics of a hard tonneau cover on a truck that has Rhino/Line-X sprayed over the rails? Been thinking about a tonneau but want to see some pics first. Also, how is the seal? I am guessing not as good as it would be without the liner

my rhino liner used to go over the rails. it was like that when i bought it. At one point the front edge of the liner where it goes over the rails started to peel up a little. I soon found out when they sprayed the liner the only place they didnt scuff up before spraying was over the bed rails. So I spent about 2 hours and peeled that whole section off and then i washed, clayed, and buffed back to a shine. you would never know it was lined there. I did it because I wanted a flush mount tonneau and thats what i got.
So maybe you might get just as lucky.

Hmm. I need to take a closer look at mine then. I don't think I got the highest quality job done when i had it done. If it doesn't come off that easy, are there other ways to get it off?

im pretty sure thats the only way to get it off. The only other way would be a grinder i bet lol.

When I had mine done I had them go right up to the inside edge of the bed. If you were eye level with the bed rails you would never know I had Lin-x. Ill try to get some pictures tomorrow.

yea, that be cool, thanks. I hope that even with the rhino lining over the rails that a cover would still look good

heh, yea well when I originally got the rhino sprayed, i didnt have any plans for a hard cover, or to lower it for that matter. Everyone was lifting their trucks but I was never happy with any 2wd lifts, I wanted more performance so I went Hotchkis and haven't looked back.
And about the ring, my truck is Graphite and I would just get a black cover, thinking about a checkmate, but that won't hide the rhino much.

Here you go. They were worried about the small top section cracking and they didnt want to do it. I told them the biggest thing I would put in it would be my atv.

that looks good. looks like it shouldnt be an issue for me then. I plan on going with a checkmate hard cover. I will leave it black have it painted. I think it would looks good on my truck. Nobody would happen to have pics of a graphite truck with black covers?
