You don't have to be a member, and the Nationals were opened to all Dakotas two years ago. Most years, they have show-n-shine, autocross and drag racing events. www.dakotartclub.com has a message board as well, now.

I'm glad to see there are a few people from Lincoln, NE on here. I am a reasonably new owner of a '01 Dakota CC, SLT 4x4. Seems like it's hard to find some after market parts for 01 Dakota's. Has anybody else noticed this too? I'm trying to find some fog lights that would look OEM. My truck doesn't have factory fogs. Anybody have suggestions as to fogs that would look good and work properly?

Welcome to the forums. I am over in Bellevue right next to Offut AFB. Maybe we can get together sometime if you ever want any help working on your truck. I have a full Crafstman toolbox and have done most of the work and modifications to my own truck.

Don't even bother signing up for the DRTC message board since it's dead. The Delphi R/T forums http://forums.delphiforums.com/dakotart/start and this one are a lot more active and more DRTC info gets passed out on them as well. Hopefully someone will kick the DRTC Execs in the ass someday and they might actually do something with the website and the forum again. I've tried with no luck.

Yeah that sounds good. I just moved up here for college so I dont have any tools or a garage to work on my truck. As far as the modding goes I just bought a new grille and rollpan, just need to get it painted. After that i'm going to start on the motor mods. Do you happen to have any experience putting a cam in? We definately need to get to together sometime. There is another dak owner here in Lincoln I've been talkng to so sometime we all should meet up.

Yeah, I think Callaham is going to bring the end to another streak in Husker football this year. How many record streaks have been broken since we hired him??

Nebraska definately has the talent already but it just seems like they don't have any motivation or heart. Hopefully they get everything worked out and are back to normal next season:waiting:

yeah it probably will be a long road to recovery.. I just hope they have at least one good year while I'm going to school here. ganz did have a pretty good game, considering it was his first starting game.

Well, he's going to be the starter next year for sure, as long as he keeps playing like he did. He just needs more experience to get rid of those big game jitters and learn when not to throw the ball to avoid interceptions. Still need a defense that can stop the other team though. The Blackshirts aren't living up to the legacy this year.

From what I have heard, Peterson and Cosgrove wouldn't let Callahan do what he wanted to do with the defense, but yeah they definately need alot of work. I work with a lady whose sister works in the athletic dept and supposedly Polini was in town last week. That would be something if they got him back:mullet:

Hell yeah. To have Bo back running the D would be a good thing. I bet when he learned Tom was the new AD he wanted to be back. Either that or Tom called him up saying we needed him back.

11-05-2007, 05:29 AM
Yeah, we can only hope he comes back. That would be awesome. I'm ready for the season to over just so we can see what kind of changes they start making. Getting rid of Cosgrove would be a good place to start.

Well looks like our wish finally came true. I cant wait for next season, I'm excited to see the impact Pelini and his assistants have.

The USA is thinking about Omaha today. Seems like we can't go 12 months without a shooting somewhere by a deranged person.

Yeah I couldnt believe when I heard that on the news. Thats too bad. I feel terrible for all the victims and families involved. Last I heard there were 9 dead and 1 in criticle condition. I guess 10 dead if you count the shooter. My heart and prayers go out to all the families.

Found out one of the guys who died was the father of a kid who used to be in my fraternity....No one liked the kid, but we all still feel bad, that would really suck ass.

Yep, been back since Thanksgiving day. Just got home from work about an hour ago. Way too fun driving in this snow. So glad I got the 15" wheels and studded snow tires on the truck since it's my daily driver. Never would have made it out of the parking lot at work with regular all-seasons on the stock wheels. I saw a black CC and a black RC in the Millard area yesterday as I was driving around. I was in my government vehicle though, and couldn't turn around to chase them down.

After my finals or during christmas break we'll have to meet up sometime when the weather permits. I can't wait to see your truck and it'll be nice to meet a fellow RT owner.:mullet:
