Changing thermostat

What temp is the stock thermostat set at? What are the pros and cons of swiching to a 180* or 160* thermostat? I live in south west ohio, hot summers and some cold winters if that makes a difference?

Stock temp is 195 deg. Replace it with a 180 deg and your truck will run cooler and perform better. Won't hurt a thing just don't go down to a 160 deg because your truck will throw a CEL.
