99 3.9 no start

OK folks. Time for the thinking caps. 99, Dak 3.9L stock. Won't start warm, won't pull over 2K rpm when it does start cold. No check engine light, no codes from the code reader. Plugs, dist cap/rotor new. Spark OK, fuel pressure OK (52 Lbs.).
Any ideas where to go from here? Not the dealer. too many $$ from me to them. Ouch. :confused:

Did you check for water in the oil? Sounds like a head gasket may have gone south. :huh:

No water in the oil, no oil in the water. Changed out the fuel pump, DA__ what a pian that was. Changed the IAC motor. Still no start and no change to the symptoms.
Anything else that won't cost my 1st born??

Run a compression test. You also might want to check the belly pan on the intake. One other and it may sound silly, are the plug wires installed in proper order?
