:usa5: REDUCE OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL WITH SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS :usa5:

SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS ARE MADE FROM LIQUID NATURAL GAS (LNG)
(abundant in the USA) --- and NOT processed from imported crude oil.

SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS IMPROVE FUEL ECONOMY
Industry tests have shown improved fuel economy of between 2 - 5% in vehicles using SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS. Many AMSOIL customer testimonials tell of even greater savings. If all vehicles in America used synthetic motor oil, gear lubes and drive train fluids, we would save enough fuel to eliminate our need for thousands of barrels of oil.

EXTENDED DRAIN INTERVALS = Longer Oil Life = Less Oil Used
AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are designed for EXTENDED DRAIN INTERVALS and reduce the amount of oil used by as much as 80%. SIMPLE MATH: Fewer oil changes = less oil used. If everyone extended their drain intervals we would eliminate our need for thousands of barrels of oil.

ENHANCED THERMAL AND OXIDATIVE STABILITY = REDUCED OIL CONSUMPTION
Synthetic lubricants have Lower Volatility and Higher Density = Less Consumption. With reduced oil consumption the benefit is less oil used. With all engines running synthetic lubricants, less consumption would eliminate our need for thousands of barrels of oil.

We can all do our part to REDUCE OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL! :usa5:

PLEASE CONSIDER AMSOIL when you choose to do your part by switching to synthetics!

Thank you for reading this.

LIQUID NATURAL GAS is ABUNDANT in the USA !!! :usa3:

SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS (made from Liquid Natural Gas) and vehicles
that run on NATURAL GAS will help us to become ENERGY INDEPENDENT.

Worthy of a repeat:

SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS ARE MADE FROM LIQUID NATURAL GAS (LNG)

If everyone switched to Synthetic Lubricants (and fuel) we would save
millions of barrels of crude oil = GREATER ENERGY INDEPENDENCE!

We can all do our part to REDUCE OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL!

SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS and ENGINES that run on LIQUID NATURAL GAS!

PLEASE CONSIDER AMSOIL when you choose to do your part by switching to synthetics!

Again ... Thank you for reading this, and please give it serious thought.

Whats a quart of Synthetic cost compared to conventional oil, Are the performance differences off the charts

Yes, they are "off the charts" ... and there are more benefits than just improved MPG.

Eight reasons why synthetics are better for today's motorist and worth the extra upfront cost.

1) They improve fuel economy so that vehicles get better mileage out of every tank of gas.

2) They offer superior wear protection so that engines last longer.

3) By reducing friction they help engines run cooler.

4) By reducing deposits engines run cleaner and perform more efficiently.

5) Due to lower volatility they reduce oil consumption.

6) They have been proven to provide more horsepower.

7) They resist oxidation and breakdown, reducing varnish and sludge, keeping valves and rings from sticking.

8) Low pour points and cold weather pumpability make winter starts much easier.

When combined with extended drains, premium synthetic motor oils offer these additional benefits:

1) Synthetics save you money since the life-cycle costs are less than conventional (crude oil based) products.

2) They save you time (and money) with the convenience of extended drain intervals.

3) They reduce waste - since there is less used oil (and fewer empty containers) to dispose of.

4) They conserve a natural resource, since synthetic lubricants are made from liquid natural gas (not crude oil).

Here is a thread I created in my Vendor Forum on this website to explain the difference:
