My Rango v. 02 Celica

I Saw a kid i know from school drivin his 02 Celica with an exhaust and a big huge wing on it...we call it a shoppin cart because of the wing, it looks like you could just use the wing to push it around. So anyways i lined up next to him and we looked at each other and wondered if we were gonna do this shit or not. I had 3 people in the car with me and he had a head start because we were doing a rollin start at about 35 mph. So we both revved up and then mashed it. He was ahead of me for about a half second, then i flew by him and he never caught up again, i was going bout 110 when i stopped. At the next stopped light he pulled up next to me and just was like what the hell man. "That thang gotta HEMI." I was just like nope, 5.2L all stock except for a cheap ass intake. Ricers got nothing on me.....

Good kill... Ricers in my town know not to mess with me... but just you wait until you find some guy with a huge turbo and some Nitrous on it... you'll be asking yourself why then!

but you do have to remember... for every 1 ricer thats fast like that... there are 10 to 20 that aren't.

yea i have had a couple guys with a turbo or something that i didn't know about and they just blew my doors off....and yea there a lot of slow ones for every fast one....i know ....lol

haha rock on man, nice kill. I think it was a year and a half ago I was walking out to parking lot with some friends at UC Irvine (my school) and we saw this white 4 door civic dx with a bookshelf wing like what you saw on that celica. Anyways I was in a comical mood so I wrote a note that said "your giant wing does nothing but slow down your front wheel drive 106 hp vehicle. You do not have a 400 hp rear drive touring car that is constantly driven above 100 mph. You are an idiot ricer." and using scotch tape, I stuck it on his wing. We all got a kick out of that. :rofl: UCI...University of Civics and Integras hahaha

yeah, like when i raced this newer (at least 00) jetta, was even with him and then all of a sudden i hear what sounds like a turbo spoolin up and hes loosing me faster and faster, get to the next light and hes just smiling from ear to ear. tried to ask him about it but he was one of them di$%heads that dont talk about their cars i guess, cus he wouldnt even look at me, di#$.
