I was surfing E-Bay tonight and came across this item. This would be an excellent item for someone to buy then send to Phoenix Imaging for processing instead of sending your original piece.

Would this work as a replacement for my 1998 Durango. Basically i need to know if it would be the same size, mount in the same locations and use the same wire harness for the display.

The computer portion itself would not be compatible with your 1998 Durango, the wiring harnesses are not the same between years, and if your truck did not come with the overhead computer from the factory you cannot simply add it because Dodge did not install any of the wiring if your truck didn't have the option.

If your upper console looks the same dimensionally as this one and you have the overhead computer you could easily switch the computers and be fully functional, the computers are easy to separate from the console.
