I was looking through my Jegs (http://www.jegs.com) catalog, and saw this (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2691&prmenbr=361) listing for a Crane Cams Ford/Dodge Pushrod Guideplate Kit. It sells for $89.99 and has these requirements:
92-02 Dodge Magnum V8 318-360
Must Use 270-11746-16 (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=7456&prmenbr=361) rockers and 5/16'' diameter pushrods (270-36621-16, $96.99) (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=16710&prmenbr=361).
The rockers are regular Chevy/F**d 1.6 ratio rollers. I also found the part # 270-44746-16 (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=7460&prmenbr=361) rockers, which are F**d 1.7 ratio pedestal mount for $195.99. I don't know enough about Dodge motors to know if these interchange. If not, Chevy 1.7 rollers can be had for $222 here (http://www.flatlanderracing.com/scorpionrockers.html#chevySB) (this was the result of a short Google search, you could probably find them for less).
The totals are as follow:
Guideplate kit: 90.00
Pushrods: 97.00
Rockers: 196.00 or 222.00
Total: 382.00 or 409.00
Since the Crower 1.7 rockers are $667.34 at Truck Performance.com (http://www.truckperformance.com/products/?productID=238007), would this be a viable alternative? If not, where is the best place to buy 1.7 ratio rockers? Jegs only lists Harland Sharp 1.6 rockers for the Magnum V8.
