I need someone to make the tire on this Durango a smaller sidewall and give it a little drop, not a lot. Match the tire with the Dakota R/T side wall (255/55).

This is the Dakota R/T wheel/tire proportion. Match it on the Durango.

Don't change the size of the rim! I want to see how the proportiions would look. I also found out the Shelby S.P. 360 with the 17s had 255/55/17 tires.

Ha, thanks. You actually understood that I'm going to do it.

Got new R/T rim and Kumho Ecsta 711 tires waiting! I need to recalibrate my speedo though. This should be my next change/mod in the next two weeks.

Ok I just realized all you did was increase the size of the wheel lol. I need to see how it all looks with a smaller tire (it's going to be 28" instead of 30") and the 17" rim in the original picture, keep the same size rim, and make the tire smaller.

Here is the 255/55/17 with the rim :onethumb:

Try to match it with the Duango shot.http://i4.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/95/76/303f_12.JPG

Needs more sidewall to match the R/T Dakota.

Edit: Just tried paintshoping it (not on my computer). What you think? Is that how my truck would look? I have a 2.25" drop, 4wd suspension, 29.7" tires now (look at my multimedia for current pictures). New tires will be 28"

Edit: Still needs bigger sidewalls to match the Dakota R/T

Found a great picture...lowered it as much as my truck. Now, since the tires are 30" tall, someone change them to 28" tall. There has to be a way to trace or select JUST the tire (as a donut with no rim), and scale it's height down.

If 30" is 100% scale, 28" would be 93.333333333%

This would be a perfect Photoshop manipulation. But remember to NOT move the rim, since it would be on the axle and not move upward in the wheel-well. Just a smalelr tire.

I'm going to try this in paintshop.

Edit: wupps forgot to add the picture

Couldn't find a scale thing, (I found photoshop on this computer!)...but I did it with my eye...I can't get the area around the tires clean...but I think the back is pretty close to being perfect. Guys, read the previous posts ^^ and help me out.
