i instlled a lowering kit on my 2001 dakota and now it is bouncy as hell what could that be also i cut the front coils if that makes a differnce and i have the stock shocks is it possible to cut the coils wrong?

How much did you cut off teh coils? More than 1/2 of a coil and you will lose the factory ride and get intot he stiffer portion of the spring. The shocks can cause a bad ride but not as harsh and too much cut from coils.

Like I said when you PM'ed me you shouldn't have cut the coils and when you get some new shocks that should help too.

shocks will make a difference...you might be riding on the bumpstops...or the geometry of the controll arms might be wrong due to the shortened spring.
