Higher wattage back up lights

Has anyone replaced the stock back up bulbs (20W) with higher wattage ones? Did it help at all?

I put xenon super whites in. it helps a little. I've heard people putting a set of driving lights under they're bumper and splice'n them into they're reverse lights or running a switch.

I installed a set of lights under my rear bumpers with a switch. That works great. Good luck
