Ok guys. I have a line on a couple brands of blowers. If anyone is interested, you can email me @ dakotart@telus.net

The brands themselves are a big hush hush, as is the price. Trust me you guys, this is gonna be a once in a lifetime opportunity, you will probably never see them at this price again, unless they are used, even then probably not.

All I need from you is what you want. Here are the choices:

1. Year, make and model of application (yes this is for more then just our trucks)

2. Polished or Satin

3. Tuner Kit (you supply your own standalone tuning) or Street legal system (including FMU with everything needed).

4. City/Province/State/Zip/Postal Code for shipping purposes.

Cheers,
Mike

Okay, here's the skinny on prices:

All Paxton blowers for the 5.2/5.9/6.7 all use the same head units. It's the Novi-2000.

97-03 Dakota/Durango:

Satin Kit will be $4000.00 USD plus shipping. The dealer cost on these units is $4670.00 USD. So that's a savings of $670.00 USD. Suggested retail on these units is $5,300.00 USD

Polished Kit will be $4350.00 USD plus shipping. The dealer cost on these units is $4950.00 USD. So that's a savings of $600.00 USD. Suggested retail on these units is $5,650.00 USD

I emailed you guys that emailed me about prices also.

Sorry to be frank, but that price sux. You can get a complete kit for cheaper or a few extra $$$ and that includes supercharger, FMU, brackets, 200gph inline pump, Crane HI-6 TR ignition system. Everything needed for the complete installation.

Ummm....show me where. This is a complete kit. And as far as I have checked out, a pretty damn good price on a Paxton.

Okay, let me see if you understand the whole point here. Show me a PAXTON for our trucks that is cheaper. Also, Vortech no longer manufacturers any blowers for Dodge. They have handed the reigns over to Paxton on that one. All the "kits" that you find out there that Vortech based now, are developed by the people that are selling them or they are selling a "kit" the was developed by someone other then Vortech.

Well, first you posted stated that you had a line on a couple of brands of superchargers. Yet, all you are talking about is Paxton. What happened to the others? And, what I was referring to is a supercharger kit in whole. (Nevermind brand) The price given was crap. If I could grab it cheaper, with FMU and an ignition system then that would be a better deal. Everyone has have problems with all types of brands. So, I'm not getting into about who is better than who.

Out of curiosity, did you e-mail him to get info for brands/prices like he requested in the first post, or did you only focus in on the Paxton price he posted afterwards and then complained because the Paxton costs more than completely different brands/models of superchargers?

Apples to Apples, Oranges to Oranges. The Paxton costs more than a Powerdyne/etc. for a reason.

...and also as mentioned above, you can't buy a new Vortech for the Magnum V8 anymore, they were discontinued ~6 months ago - dunno why KRC hasn't updated their website for that info yet.
