I want to begin adding mods on to my 97 dakota. I have a K&N Intake and am now thinking of adding an exhaust system of some type. But first i have many questions...
1. What is the best system?
2. What system do you get the best bang for your buck?
3. What is the difference between just adding a muffler and a whole new system?
4. How much HP will be added to my Truck???
5. Is their any welding involved? Can I do it myself?
I apreciate all feedback, thanks alot.

1) there all about the same there may be +-5hp difference in between the best and worst. *cough* Spintech being the best *cough*
2) again many answers
3) whole new system is alot better
4) Full exhaust from headers back I'd say around 20-25
5) yes and no I would suggest welding. Can you do the welding I don't know I 've never done it. When I get my Spintech catback on at the end of this month I'm just going to take it to the muffler shop and have them weld it shut

How about sound wise??? I assume the new system would be bigger so would you get a deeper sound?
