Since my MP PCM gave up the ghost I will be buying a replacement soon. I kinda liked the MP one, but reliability seems to be an issue. (The old one lasted less than 2 years and 12,000 miles) :dammit:

My MP dealer (who sold the previous owner the one that just died) has reccommended either a Hyper-Tec or a SuperChip. He also said to stay the hell away from Jet because they are definitely junk. (He is also a Jet dealer) :hammer:

My only complaint with the MP one (other than it took a crap) was that the shift points didn't seem to make much sense. It would shift out of low at 5600, but hit third at 5200. I don't know that it really hurt anything, but it really felt like it killed forward momentum on the track. After this season I will be pretty much done racing it anyway, and the truck will be mainly used for towing a 4000# race car/open trailer combo. :fart:

Thanks for any insight you can give me!

D'OH! I guess I should tell ya about the truck. 2000 R/T CC, K&N CA, M-1 intake, Magnaflow 3" Cat-back, Cal-Tracs, and it gets raced on ET Streets.

This is what I have read and heard in order of being the best:

1. B&G Flash (approx. $430) you need ti send them your PCM or send them another one so they can reflash it for you.
2. Superchips / Hypertech (approx. $450 new, but can be had much cheaper used or on Ebay) what is nice about this is that it has the OBD2 Code Scan feature.
