ok, my truck is about to hit 100,000 just wondering what I should do maintenance wise. Please list a bunch of stuff. I'm going to change my oil, change my coolant, flush my radiator, block, and heater core, I changed my spark plugs awhile ago, (97,000) so I don't think they need to be done. Any advice you guys and gals got would be much appreciated.

You should follow your manual from the truck, it tells you what to do and when. But if you have no access to one and you don't have a history of your ride, get ready, you need to do alot or plan to do alot. Change all fluids and filters including oil, trans, coolant, differential, windshield washer, chack A/C. Check all rubber, most to all rubber is only good for 10 years trustworthy and highly used is just as bad, so at least check all hoses and really look at the belt. You will also need to change cap, rotor, plugs pvc, and start planning your timing chain. Tire tread, Tire air, etc. Check everything!

I filled my tank up with gas when i turned 100,000 and i just turned 150,000 and did it again. tho i do get my oil changed every 2000-2500 miles :biggthump

at this point for me i really don't care as i am planning on dropping a new 5.9 in it this spring late winter.

but want it to last till then.

one thing , if it isn't broke don't fix it. :slap: just keep up on your routine maintenance that's it. IMHO

heres a some things i did when i hit 100k
new spark plugs and wires, new brass cap and rotor, oil change -every 3k-, new raditor fluid and flush out -mine was new already-, change the tranny fluid and filter, change the rearend fluid, new rearend brakes, also for me came to change the front brakes and i also changed the rotors since i had some shakin in braking -rotors were warped- while you were at it check your Balljoints, also pull the throttle body and clean it up, check brake fluid and powersteerin, oil up the doors, oil some bushins on the leafs and control arms. good bit of work but some thigns are to keep ya from havin any future problems or squeeks
