Can anyone tell me what rpm's i'll be running with 4.10's compared to 4.56's? I just put a set of 295/75/16's (33.4x11.50) on my Durango and am currently geared with 3.55 and they really suck. I'm right around 1750 rpm now in OD at 65. So next is the gear swap and I can't decide between the 2. I'm leaning towards 4.56 since I live in a hilly area, but I drive about 300 highway miles a week. Is anyone running 33's and 4.56? How is your mileage? They say to multiply tire size by .12 as a rule of thumb and that would put me at a 4.10. Any info/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Your RPM's would only be 200 more @ 65 MPH with 4.56's compared to 4.10's. I'd get the 4.56's.

Might as well go with the 4.56's

Here you go, 456 gears, 3000 RPM, 75 MPH, 255-50-17 KDW'S, no regrets and awesome out of the hole power. Probrably be switching to a little taller tire when I burn these up. Hope that helps.

I have 4.56's... i know two spots off the top of my head... 3,000 RPM is close as hell to 75-77 MPH, and 115 MPH is about 4600 RPMS... get them, out of the hole the are the shit. you ever get people that pull up next to you at a light on a one way street to try and pass you? i hold the brakes and the trottle to about 1200 rpm's, right before traction loss, light green, brakes off gas pedal doesnt move and i jump, its great lol :mullet:
