i was stationed at fairchild afb many years ago. there is a guy over on dakotausa (themongrel) that is stationed there. he drives a sweet white dakota with a remote turbo system. i think he puts together a few meets there as well. web page (http://www.cardomain.com/id/themongrel)

Im from the big town of Ephrata. Why do you think Spokane is a shithole? I like Spokane and will probably live there someday.

Most of you probably do not know where it is, but I am from the San Luis Obispo area of Cali (about an hour north of Santa Barbara). Anyways, there is less to do here than there was down there, which is very sad. Cost of living is the only thing keeping me here for now. Will probably be moving to Vancouver, WA soon tho. I am sure at least a part of why I do not like it here is the fact that it was not really my choice to live here. It was either here or homeless (there is a quite a long story that goes along with this).

If you were from Cali, just wait til winter. Youre gonna hate it. Spokane gets lots of snow. Nuthin worse then driving in a big city on slick roads.

I was here for last winter. I was very disappointed. FOr being as cold as it was it needed to snow MUCH more. It is not really the roads themselves that I am worried about, it is the dumb people that do not know how to drive and do not realize that mashing the pedal to the floor on ice makes you go faster.
As far as getting lots of snow.. tehre was supposed to be tons of snow this last year but there wasn't.

Spokane is the Shit. I was up there last Fall as they reconstructed our runway. I actually bought my R/T from Foothills there. You got a city with decent clubs (better then North Dakota), a Drag strip, a road course, lots of offroading, mountains, lakes, hunting, sking, and did i mention a Drag strip and road course? By the way, Travis Pastrana pulled the first EVER double back flip to dirt in spokane. ( recently seen at the x-games) If you ride motorcycles, there is one hell of a private motocross track and freestyle park there. ( check out nitro circus 2) and the winters arent that bad. The worst thing about that place is buying an R/T and then finding out your still not the fastest truck on base. Yet a v6 dak is. Mongrols truck was BAD TO THE BONE!!
